BID AWARD No. 7000 - ANNUAL BID FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL <br />EQUIPMENT - TRAFFIC ENGINEERING DIVISION/PUBLIC <br />WORKS DEPARTMENT — MULTICOMINC. — TRAFFIC PARTS INC. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />approved making multiple awards Bid No. 7000 by <br />Sections instead of a single award to the overall lowest <br />most responsive and responsible bidder and awarded <br />Section 1 to Multicom, Inc; awarded Sections 2, 3, and <br />4 to Traffic Parts Inc; approved establishment of Open <br />End Contract for the period October 1, 2004 through <br />September 30, 2004 with each of the recommended <br />vendors; authorized the Purchasing Manager to renew <br />this contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods <br />subject to satisfactory performance, zero cost increase, <br />vendor acceptance and the determination that renewal <br />of this annual contract is in the best interest of the <br />County, all as recommended in the memorandum of <br />December 8, 2004. <br />7.V.
