NOTED THAT THE SCHOOL BOARD COULD ALSO UTILIZE THE COUNTY COMMISSION <br />MEETING ROOM. HE FELT THE CREDIT UNION COULD BE ON THE THIRD FLOOR AS <br />THE GROUND FLOOR SPACE IS VITAL. CHAIRMAN WODTKE EXPRESSED THE NEED FOR <br />RESTROOMS TO BE PLACED NEAR THE COUNTY COMMISSION CHAMBERS SO THAT DURING <br />THE EVENING SESSIONS, THE REST OF THE BUILDING COULD BE SECURED. <br />MR. SINGH DISCUSSED THE ADVISABILITY OF OFFICES HAVING OUTSIDE <br />EXPOSURE TO CREATE A BETTER WORKING ENVIRONMENT. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE WENT OVER THE POSSIBILITY OF THE SCHOOL BOARD <br />HAVING THEIR OWN SEPARATE SPACE AND PAYING FOR THEIR OWN JANITORIAL <br />SERVICE, SECURITY, ETC. MR. SINGH INFORMED THE BOARD THAT IT WOULD BE <br />POSSIBLE TO PROVIDE SEPARATE AIR CONDITIONING SERVICE FOR THE SCHOOL <br />BOARD. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT WONDERED IF WE SHOULD CONSIDER MOVING THE <br />DRIVEWAY OR SQUARING OFF THE OLD BUILDING, AND HE FELT POSSIBLY THE <br />PLANNING AND ZONING DEPARTMENT SHOULD BE ON THE FIRST' FLOOR. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY FELT WE MUST LOOK AT THE NEEDS OF THE CLERK'S <br />OFFICE RELATIVE TO THE OTHER GOVERNMENTAL OFFICES SUCH AS THE PROPERTY <br />APPRAISER, TAX COLLECTOR AND THE SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS AND SUGGESTED <br />THAT WE TALK TO THE CLERK MORE ABOUT HER SITUATION. SHE POINTED OUT THAT <br />THE WELFARE DEPARTMENT REQUIRES A GREAT DEAL OF STORAGE AND MIGHT BE <br />BETTER SUITED ELSEWHERE. SHE ALSO FELT THE CREDIT UNION SHOULD -BE RE- <br />LOCATED. <br />MR. SINGH AGREED THAT THEY SHOULD EVALUATE THE CLERK'S NEEDS <br />MORE IN DEPTH, <br />SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS ROSEMARY RICHEY STATED THAT SHE IS <br />REQUIRED BY LAW TO BE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC AT ODD HOURS, AND SHE WOULD <br />LIKE TO BE ABLE TO LOCK OFF THE REST OF THE BUILDING. MR, SINGH AGREED <br />THAT THIS AGENCY NEEDED OUTSIDE ACCESS, <br />'.` CONSTRUCTION PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE KONTOULAS COMMENTED THAT <br />THE -SCHOOL BOARD HAS INCLUDED IN THEIR PLANS A VERY LARGE LOBBY, WHICH HE <br />DOES NOT FEEL IS NECESSARY. HE THEN WENT ON TO EXPLAIN SCHOOL BOARD <br />REGULATIONS AND THE NEED FOR STATE APPROVAL, NOTING THAT.THEY MUST HAVE <br />A SURVEY TEAM COME DOWN AND INSPECT ANY FACILITY THEY LEASE.
