11.I.3. OSLO ROAD/43" AVENUE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT AND <br />ROADWAY WIDENING ENGINEERING SERVICES - <br />AMENDMENT NO. 2 - KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, <br />INC. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Vice Chairman Ginn, to approve staff's <br />recommendation. <br />Under discussion, Community Development Director Robert Keating said that the <br />consultant has redesigned their plans increasing the five -lane widening distance by 200' at no <br />additional cost. <br />Robert Johnson, 535 39th Court SW, asked for an explanation of differences between the <br />Oslo Road bridge and the construction of the bridge being built. <br />Director Keating explained the two bridges will be almost identical. The bridge over the <br />Lateral B canal will be a little longer, but both bridges will have 5 -lanes. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the motion <br />carried unanimously.
