Commissioner Adams suggested researching the library item and coming back with a prioritization, meanwhile, she agreed a workshop on sales tax money would be helpful and the proposed projects for those funds over the course of the next fifteen years. Commissioner Neuberger felt that we need a public hearing to reaffirm what has already been established. He felt it was unnecessary to have a workshop. Acting Chairman Macht pointed out that IRCC is working with the Legislature to obtain a subgrant that would produce a 4 -year university. This would bring employment opportunities to our community. He asked the Board to look at this matter as a leveraged item to put before the Legislature.
