The Chairman opened the public hearing. There were no speakers, and the <br />Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />There was a brief question and answer period between the Board and staff regarding <br />the increase in trips and capacity numbers. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 2007-040, Amending the Zoning Ordinance <br />and the Accompanying Zoning Map for ± 6.78 Acres <br />South of 53rd Street and West of U.S. Highway #1 from IL, <br />Light Industrial District, to CG, General Commercial <br />District; and Providing Codification, Severability, and <br />Effective Date. <br />9.A.3. He told the Board that this request <br />was to waive all subdivision ordinance requirements, including infrastructure improvements and <br />platting. He said the applicant, Mr. Hitchcox, requested to have up to five mobile homes on a <br />one -acre lot without platting and without making formal site improvements.
