<br />Public Works Director Jim Davis explained that this Change Order incorporates <br />the traffic signal improvements at the Sebastian River Middle School. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner O’Bryan, the Board unanimously <br />approved Change Order #6 increasing the contract <br />amount by $129,876.90, as recommended in the <br />memorandum of November 28, 2006. <br /> <br />11.I.2. FDTM <br />LORIDA EPARTMENT OF RANSPORTATION AINTENANCE <br />MA(MOA)US1OR <br />EMORANDUM OF GREEMENT FOR FROM SLO OAD TO <br />SRCLM <br />OUTH ELIEF ANAL FOR ANDSCAPE AINTENANCE <br />Public Works Director Jim Davis advised that the Department of <br />Transportation is willing to landscape the median and along the borders and replace any <br />landscaping that was damaged. Staff recommends the Board approve the MOA. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Bowden asked that they do not plant cactus because it looks terrible <br />and is difficult to weed. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner O’Bryan, the Board unanimously <br />approved Alternative No. 1, the Memorandum of <br />Agreement and authorized the Chairman to execute <br />same, allowing DOT to furnish and install the <br />landscaping, as recommended in the memorandum of <br />November 20, 2006. <br /> <br />December 5, 2006 <br />27 <br /> <br />
