COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR’S MATTERS – CITY OF <br />FELLSMERE – REQUEST FOR DONATION OF LAND FOR <br />DRAINAGE PURPOSES – LOTS 11 AND 12, TOWN OF <br />FELLSMERE (NORTH HICKORY STREET) <br />County Administrator Baird explained the request and advised that staff’s <br />recommendation is to grant the City of Fellsmere a drainage easement over the subject parcels to <br />give the City the ability to use the two lots for drainage. <br /> <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wheeler, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to grant the City of <br />Fellsmere a drainage easement over the subject parcels. <br />(Option 2) <br /> <br />City Manager Jason R. Nunemaker <br /> said the City would prefer donation of the lots <br />but if there was a problem with a donation, he suggested a reverter clause if they should use the <br />property for other than public purpose or use.
