I <br />M <br />RE SOLUT ION 79-29 <br />WHEREAS, L. S. Thomas, Jr., has been an employee of Indian <br />River County, Florida, since June 1, 1971; and <br />WHEREAS, certain of L. S. Thomas, Jr.'s records regarding <br />accrued sick leave prior to January 1977, have either been lost, <br />destroyed or misplaced; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, are interested in establishing L. S. Thomas, Jr. Is <br />sick leave accrual for retirement purposes; and <br />WHEREAS, the County Administrator, Jack G. Jennings, from <br />memory, recalls that L. S. Thomas, Jr., has not recorded excessive <br />absenteeism as a result of illness or other reason. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that as of the date <br />of this Resolution, L. S. Thomas, Jr., will be deemed to have <br />accumulated unused sick leave of sixty (60) days, as of the date <br />of this Resolution; and • <br />FURTHER, RESOLVED that the letter dated February 9, 1979, <br />from Jack G. Jennings, County Administrator, shall be made part of <br />4 <br />this Resolution and attached thereto. <br />ATTEST: <br />Freda Wright, r <br />William C.
