County Attorney Collins stated that staff also recommended the approval of <br />Addendum “A” (added to the backup) to the Lease and the Commissioners were being asked to <br />approve all three documents. <br />Commissioner Lowther understood that certain items were being added to the Old <br />Fellsmere School’s cooking area (basement) to comply with the Fire Code requirements for the <br />Frog Leg Festival. He asked if we could possibly give the building back to the City of Fellsmere <br />and perhaps the Frog Leg Festival Committee could take it over. <br />County Administrator Baird recounted how the County had taken over the school as <br />approved by the Board because the City did not have the resources at the time to do so. He thought <br />we could explore giving it back to the City if the Board wishes. <br />Commissioner Lowther reserved the rest of his comments to consideration of Item <br />7.J. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lowther, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Lease, Addendum “A”, and Contract subject to <br />compliance with the applicable County Fire Protection <br />Codes, and any required improvements must be installed <br />and approved prior to the use of the kitchen area; and <br />authorized the use of the County’s tents as was approved <br />last year, as recommended in the memorandum of <br />November 30, 2004. <br /> <br />LEASE, ADDENDUM “A”, AND CONTRACT ARE ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br />7.J.
