<br />OF CERTAIN MAL PROPERTY SITIIA"1', 1N T111,1'UNINCORPORATED AREA OI. INDIAN RIVFI: COUNTY
<br />CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF VITRO BEACH FOR VOLUN-
<br />TARY ANNIEM1'1TION TO THE CITY OF VERO BEACH, AND
<br />AMENDING SECTION 7 OF THE ClUkRTER OF THE CITY
<br />OF VERO BEACH, UNDER AUTHORITY OF CHAPTER 166,
<br />' FLORIDA STATUTES, THE MUNICIPAI, HOMIE RULE POWERS `
<br />ACT, BY REDEFINING TIE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE
<br />CITY OF VERO.BEACH TO INCLUDE SAID PROPERTY.
<br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF VERO BEACII HEREBY ORDAINS:
<br />SECTION I
<br />Under authority of Section 171.044, Florida Statutes, and
<br />in response to petition of the owner thereof, Wild Turkey Groves,
<br />Inc., for voluntary annexation, the following,described parcel of
<br />land, including t',•iree (3) islands, all situate in the, unincorpo Ltce
<br />portion of Indian River County, Florida, contiguous' to the City of
<br />Vero Beach, is hereby annexed to the City of Vero Beach:
<br />All of Government Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and S, in
<br />Section 8, Township 33 South(, Range 40 East, and
<br />Government Lot 1, Section 9, Township 33 Sovth,'
<br />Range 40 East; k"D, also an island located in the
<br />Indian River known as Prange's or Paradise Island,
<br />and tuo (2) other islands in the Indian River in
<br />Section 8, Township 33 South, Range 40 East, one
<br />'island lying north of Paradise Island and the other
<br />island lying south of Paradise Island,
<br />TOGETHER WITH all littoral and riparian rights;
<br />EXCEPT, HOWEVER, that part thereof described as follows:
<br />Beginning at the Southwest corner of •said Government
<br />Lot -1,' Section 9, and running thence South 89 degrees
<br />59 minutes 15 seconds East 1446.71 feet along; the
<br />Southerly boundary of Lot 1, Section 9, to the mean
<br />high water line of the Atlantic Ocean;
<br />Thence, meander said mean high water line to a point
