1 <br />PLANNING TECHNICIAN BARBARA BERARD INFORMED THE BOARD THAT <br />THIS REZONING WAS INITIATED BY THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION AFTER <br />THEY RECEIVED A REZONING FOR HOBART BROTHERS. AT THE TIME OF THAT PUBLIC <br />HEARING, THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION REQUESTED THE <br />MCCULLERS' PROPERTY ALSO BE ADVERTISED BECAUSE IT LEFT A LITTLE PIECE <br />OF AGRICULTURAL -PROPERTY IN THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE REZONED TO R-1, <br />WHICH WOULD RESULT IN SPOT ZONING. SHE STATED THAT THE MASTER PLAN DOES <br />SHOW LOW DENSITY FOR THE AREA, THE PROPERTY IN QUESTION CONTAINS 4.6 <br />ACRES, AND THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION IS RECOMMENDING THE REZONING <br />TO R-1 TO BRING THIS INTO CONFORMITY WITH THE SURROUNDING PROPERTY. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE ASKED IF ANYONE PRESENT WISHED TO BE HEARD. <br />THERE WERE NONE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />LYONS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED ORDINANCE No. 79-10 GRANTING THE <br />REZONING TO R-1 OF THE PROPERTY OF DAN & LILLY MCCULLERS, AS REQUESTED <br />BY THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION. <br />APR 4 1979 <br />40 <br />BOOK 39 pAEE 394 <br />
