REQUEST TO REZONE HIS PROPERTY FROM C-1 TO AGRICULTURAL•SO HE CAN HAVE <br />A DOG KENNEL WHICH IS NOT_PERMITTED IN C-1. SIRS. BERARD STATED THAT THE <br />PLANNING STAFF RECOGNIZES THAT IN THE FUTURE THIS MAY BE PRIME COMMERCIAL <br />PROPERTY, BUT DOES NOT FEEL COMMERCIAL IS NEEDED AT THIS TIME AND THAT <br />THE AGRICULTURAL REQUESTED BY MR. NOLTE, WHICH IS A HOLDING ZONE, IS <br />LOGICAL AND SHOULD BE ALLOWED. <br />ATTORNEY WILLIAM STEWART CAME BEFORE THE BOARD REPRESENTING <br />DAVID NOLTE. HE STATED THAT THEY SUPPORT THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE <br />PLANNING STAFF, AND POINTED OUT THAT THE MAP SHOWS THIS ENTIRE AREA IS <br />IN -CITRUS AT THE PRESENT TIME. HE FELT IF THIS AREA SHOULD DEVELOPIN <br />COMMERCIAL, THE PROPERTY WOULD INCREASE IN VALUE AND THE USE WOULD <br />FOLLOW IT. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE ASKED IF ANYONE PRESENT WISHED TO BE HEARD, <br />THERE WERE NONE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />DEESON, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY CLOSED THE PUBLIC HEARING. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />LYONS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED ORDINANCE N0. 79-I2 GRANTING THE <br />REZONING TO AGRICULTURAL AS REQUESTED BY DAVID NOLTE. <br />39 <br />APR ,181979 <br />BOOK 39 PAGE 46 <br />
