He was also concerned with maintenance of tracts and saw the <br />potential for fire hazards and needed to know what were the County’s plans for designated <br />set-asides. Mr. DeBlois explained that the plan was not to fence off the total tract but to clearly <br />define the boundary to people who own lots abutting the property. Staff intends to monitor the <br />proposed use to make sure it is compatible with its intent and does not conflict with potential urban <br />wildlife movement Set-asides are typically dedicated to neighborhood associations, which <br />assume responsibility for maintenance and it would do well for the County to have an enforcement <br />mechanism in place by which to control and eliminate exotic plants.
