He had received very few phone calls; a few positives; and, a <br />couple indicated they did not want it because it would be a financial hardship. Overall there was no <br />outcry of opposition but more support instead. <br /> <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing. <br /> <br />th <br />Dorothy Jeffries, <br />2355 28 Avenue SW, missed the Planning & Zoning meeting <br />and wanted to be informed. She is in agreement of the project but was concerned about whose <br />responsibility it would be to replace her driveway and yard. <br />Mr. Chastain informed her that the County has reverse osmosis water plants <br />throughout the County in a regional system. Water is treated in state-of-the-art facilities; are <br />among the finest methods used in the world; and, meets or exceeds all Federal and State water <br />quality standards. Contractors’ Agreements have conditions that require them to leave the <br />property in as good condition or better than they found it. <br /> <br />th <br />Patricia Edwards, <br /> 2365 28 Avenue SW, said all her questions were answered and <br />supported the project. <br /> <br />Commissioner Davis inquired if it is our policy to notify with certified mail.
