MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wheeler, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, to increase the <br />proposed minimum buffer of 10 -foot to 15- or 20 -foot <br />regardless of the lot size. <br />Under discussion, it was suggested and discussed that the width of the landscaping <br />be tied to the depth of the project. <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Wheeler, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Davis, (by a vote of 4-0, <br />Commissioner Bowden absent) to increase the minimum <br />buffer to 15 -foot for lots under 400 feet in depth. <br />Discussion ensued to clarify the amendment. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION on the <br />amendment and the amended motion carried unanimously <br />(by a vote of 4-0, Commissioner Bowden absent). <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Neuberger, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (by a <br />vote of 4-0, Commissioner Bowden absent) adopted <br />Ordinance No. 2005-004, as amended above, amending <br />Land Development Regulations [LDRs] Chapter 926, <br />Landscape and Buffer Regulations by amending Section <br />926.09 regarding landscape along roadways.) <br />February 15, 2005 17 <br />
