COMMISSIONER LYONS EXPRESSED CONCERN ABOUT THE LENGTH OF TIME <br />INVOLVED - 400 HOURS - FOR THE ENGINEERING WORK ON THE PAVEMENT MARKING <br />AND SIGN PLANS, AND FELT IT WAS RATHER HIGH. <br />ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS STATED THAT THE BOARD'MIGHT BE MORE <br />SATISFIED TO HOLD THIS IN ABEYANCE NOW AND HAVE MR. SIMPSON BE.PRESENT <br />AT THE NEXT MEETING TO EXPLAIN THIS MATTER, AND THE BOARD AGREED WITH <br />MR. .JENNINGS' SUGGESTION. <br />SHERIFF SAM T. .JOYCE APPROACHED THE BOARD AND PRESENTED THEM <br />WITH A PLAQUE OF THE GREAT SEAL OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA, COMMENTING THAT <br />HE FELT THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS SHOULD HAVE SOMETHING ADORNING ITS WALLS <br />REPRESENTING THE STATE OF FLORIDA. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE ACCEPTED THE GREAT SEAL OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA <br />WITH GRATITUDE AND EXPRESSED DEEP APPRECIATION ON BEHALF OF ALL THE <br />BOARD MEMBERS.' HE INSTRUCTED COMMISSION SECRETARY FORLANI TO PLACE A <br />NOTE WITH INFORMATION ABOUT TODAY'S PRESENTATION ON THE BACK OF THE <br />PLAQUE. <br />SHERIFF .JOYCE•ALSO PRESENTED THE BOARD WITH A BOOK GIVING <br />PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE VARIOUS STATE OFFICIALS, <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT ASKED ABOUT THE PROPERTY AROUND THE LAKE <br />AT ST. FRANCIS MANOR, ADJOINING THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT PARKING LOT, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AGREED TO ADD THE ITEM OF ST, FRANCIS <br />MANOR TO THE AGENDA. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS REPORTED THAT HE, ASSISTANT ADMINISTRATOR <br />NELSON, AND SHERIFF .JOYCE WENT TO ST. FRANCIS MANOR TO REVIEW A POSSIBLE <br />SOLUTION TO THE PROPERTY LINE DISCREPANCY. MR. JENNINGS PRESENTED MAPS <br />TO THE BOARD SHOWING WHERE THERE WAS A SMALL OVERLAPPING OF BOUNDARY <br />LINES IN ONE AREA AND STATED THAT THE PROPERTY WAS SURVEYED, THE DE- <br />SCRIPTIONS WERE WRITTEN, THE AREA WAS STAKED OFF, BUT THE PROGRESS <br />STOPPED THERE,AND NO DOCUMENTATION CAN BE FOUND. MR. JENNINGS THEN <br />ASKED IF THE BOARD WOULD AUTHORIZE HIM TO HAVE A SURVEY MADE SO THE <br />COUNTY CAN MAKE WHATEVER ADJUSTMENTS ARE NECESSARY IN ORDER TO GET THE <br />ADDITIONAL PROPERTY FOR ST.
