77 <br />ADMINISTRATOR .JENNINGS REPORTED THAT THE COUNTY HAS TO HAVE <br />ENGINEERING EVALUATIONS OF ALL OF THE BRIDGES INTO THE DOT IN ORDER TO <br />BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN CERTAIN FUNDING, HE STATED THAT HE HAS <br />ADVERTISED AND RECEIVED 17 RESUMES FROM ENGINEERING FIRMS TO PERFORM <br />THE BRIDGE INSPECTION AND WOULD RECOMMEND THE BOARD INTERVIEW THE <br />FOLLOWING FIVE: <br />LLOYD & ASSOCIATES <br />BEINDORF & ASSOCIATES <br />MID SOUTH ENGINEERING <br />HOWARD, NEEDLES, TAMMEN & BERGENDORFF <br />DLOUHY & ASSOCIATES <br />HE FELT EACH FIRM SHOULD BE ALLOTTED A MINIMUM OF 30 MINUTES, <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, <br />THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE ADMINISTRATOR TO SCHEDULE INTERVIEWS <br />WITH THE FIVE FIRMS AND*RECOMMENDED STARTING AT 1:00 P.M. THURSDAY, <br />MAY 24, 1979. <br />ADMINISTRATOR JENNINGS REPORTED THAT HE HAS BEEN IN CONTACT <br />WITH OSCEOLA COUNTY IN REGARD TO MAINTENANCE OF THE KENANSVILLE GRADE, <br />BUT HE -HAS BEEN UNABLE TO CONTACT THE OWNER OF SOME OF THE RIGHT-OF-WAY <br />AND WILL HAVE TO DEFER THIS MATTER TO ANOTHER MEETING. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS I.NFORMED THE BOARD THAT NOTICES OF ZONING <br />VIOLATIONS HAVE BEEN SENT OUT TO MRS. HELEN CIMERN, WHO IS <br />KEEPING PIGS ON HER PROPERTY AND MRS, FLORENCE SUDBROCK, WHO IS KEEPING <br />' GARBAGE, TRASH AND OTHER UNSIGHTLY ITEMS ON HER PROPERTY. HE STATED THAT <br />SUFFICIENT NOTICES HAVE BEEN SENT; WE HAVE HAD NO RESPONSE; AND HE FELT <br />WE SHOULD PROSECUTE. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER SIEBERT, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />Loy, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE ATTORNEY TO PROCEED WITH <br />LITIGATION OF THE ZONING VIOLATIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE, <br />THE MATTER OF ALLOWING WGYL TO PLACE A RADIO TOWER ON COUNTY <br />PROPERTY WAS BRIEFLY DISCUSSED; CONCERN WAS EXPRESSED ABOUT TYING UP <br />PROPERTY.THAT MIGHT BECOME VALUABLE; POSSIBLY REQUIRING ESCALATION <br />CLAUSES OR RESERVING SPACE ON THE TOWER FOR GOVERNMENTAL BODIES; AND <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT HE WOULD PLACE THIS MATTER ON THE AGENDA <br />OF THE NEXT MEETING FOR FURTHER CONSIDERATION. <br />79 <br />MAY, 91979 BOOK 40 PAGE 284 <br />I <br />
