Ms. Offutt, however, said it seemed a lot of money to expand a daycare. <br />There were no other speakers and the Chairman closed the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, <br />SECONDED by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board <br />unanimously: (A) found that: <br />1. it is empowered under the provisions of Chapter 971 to review the Special <br />exception applied for; <br />2. the granting of the special exception will not adversely affect the public <br />interest; <br />3. the application satisfies the general and specific criteria required for special <br />exception approval; and <br />4. the conditions stated below are adequate to ensure compatibility between the <br />special exception use and surrounding land uses. <br />(B) Granted special exception use approval for the child care use with the <br />following conditions: <br />1. Prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy, the applicant shall: <br />a) install all required buffers; and <br />b) install the required sanitary sewer cleanout and waterline <br />backflow preventer. <br />February 17, 2009 15 <br />
