APPROVAL TO PURCHASE (1) CHEVROLET TYPE III MEDIUM DUTY <br />AMBULANCE FROM TEN -8 FIRE EQUIPMENT, INC. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Vice Chairman Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Flescher, to approve the <br />purchase of (1) Chevrolet Type III Medium Duty <br />Ambulance from Ten -8 Fire Equipment, Inc. <br />Under discussion, Assistant Fire Rescue Chief Brian Burkeen replied in the affirmative <br />to Commissioner O'Bryan's question of whether this purchase was necessary to public safety. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board approved the <br />purchase of (1) Chevrolet Type III Medium Duty <br />Ambulance from Ten -8 Fire Equipment, Inc. for <br />$144,673.00 with funding from the District Funds on a <br />sole source basis, using available funds from the capital <br />budget in the amount of $144,673.00, as recommended in <br />the memorandum of February 5, 2008. <br />ALL BACKUP DOCUMENTATION IS ON FILE IN THEOFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD AND <br />IS HEREBY MADE A PART OF THESE MINUTES <br />February 19, 2008 <br />E.S.D. 3 <br />
