IS PRESENTED WITH AN UP-TO-DATE MAP THAT SHOWS THE PROPERTY IN RELATION <br />TO STATE ROAD AlA AND UNTIL THE BOARD CAN HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING AS TO <br />THE SIZE OF THE RIGHTS-OF-WAY THAT ARE PLATTED SO THEY CAN BETTER UNDER- <br />STAND WHAT THEY ARE BEING ASKED TO D0, <br />THE CHAIRMAN STATED THAT THIS MATTER WILL BE PUT ON THE AGENDA <br />FOR THE NEXT MEETINGi <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS INFORMED THE BOARD THAT HE HAS TRIED TO <br />CONSOLIDATE THE THOUGHTS GENERATED AT THE LAST MEETING IN REGARD TO <br />ALLOCATION OF -SEWER ON 6TH AVENUE INTO RESOLUTION FORM, AND HAS ALSO <br />INCORPORATED RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ENGINEERS IN SOME PRACTICAL MATTERS. <br />SUBSEQUENTLY, THE ENGINEER HAS COME UP WITH SEVERAL OTHER SUGGESTIONS, <br />• AND THEY ARE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1) INCLUSION OF THE RESPONSIBILITY ON THE DEVELOPER TO REPAIR <br />ANY DAMAGE DONE IN EASEMENTS OR RIGHTS-OF-WAY THAT MAY BE CONTROLLED BY <br />THE COUNTY; <br />2) A REQUIREMENT TO HAVE ALL OF THE IMPROVEMENTS DONE ACCORDING <br />TO THE STANDARDS THAT WE HANE PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED FOR THE UTILITY <br />RESOLUTIONS; <br />3) AN AFFIRMATIVE STATEMENT ON THE PART OF THE DEVELOPER TO <br />MAINTAIN AND KEEP UP THE COLLECTION SYSTEMS AND OTHER APPURTENANCES FROM <br />THE POINT OF THE DEVELOPMENT TO THE POINT OF CONNECTION TO THE COUNTY <br />FORCE MAIN. <br />' ENGINEER BEINDORF REPORTED THAT HE HAD TALKED WITH THE BER LAST <br />WEEK; THEY ARE RECEPTIVE TO WORKING ALONG WITH THE COUNTY, AND UPON <br />RECEIVING A LETTER FROM THE COUNTY STATING THAT THE APPLICANT'WILL <br />RECEIVE AN ALLOCATION, THEY WOULD REVIEW THE SEWER AND WATER SYSTEMS AND <br />ISSUE PERMITS. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS THEN DISCUSSED THE PRACTICALITIES OF HOW TO <br />METER THE SEWAGE AND STATED,THE ENGINEER HAS CONCLUDED THERE IS NO <br />ECONOMICAL EFFECTIVE WAY OF METERING THE RAW SEWAGE FLOW, AND IT WOULD <br />BE BETTER -TO TIE THE SEWAGE RATES T0. EXISTING -WATER RATES. THEREFORE, <br />THEY HAVE PROVIDED THAT THE CHARGES WILL BE BASED EITHER.ON THE -WATER <br />USAGE THROUGH THE COUNTY SYSTEM OR THE SYSTEM THAT THE DEVELOPER WILL <br />PUT IN TO SERVICE HIS PROJECT. <br />44 <br />MAY 2 31979 BOOK 40FAcE 332 <br />
