The right-of-way is a "paper half <br />street" and County staff and utility providers have no objections and recommend approval. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone wished to be heard <br />regarding this matter. <br />Brian Heady of Vero Beach said anytime you give away rights-of-way or public <br />property you give away something that has rights -of -value. He felt that something of value should <br />be given in return. <br />Tom Young of Kimley Horn and Associates was present to answer any questions. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone else wished to be heard with regard to this matter. <br />There being none, the Chairman closed the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Neuberger, the <br />Board unanimously adopted Resolution 2004-021 <br />providing for the closing, abandonment, vacation, <br />and discontinuance of that portion of 291h Street that <br />lies between 62nd Avenue and 62nd Drive. Said 291h <br />Street being in the Sunniland Home Sites Plat Book <br />4, page 33 of the public records of Indian River <br />County, Florida. <br />9.A.2.
