<br />Chairman Ginn requested the addition of Item 11.J.2., Review of St. Lucie County <br />Interlocal Agreement Regarding Water and Sewer– Department of Utilities Services. She <br />also announced there was corrective backup on Item 8.B. and additional backup for Item <br />13.D. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Lowther, the Board unanimously made the <br />above changes to the Agenda. <br /> <br />5. PAUF <br />RESENTATION OF WARDS FROM NIVERSITY OF LORIDA <br />CESMG <br />OOPERATIVE XTENSION ERVICE TO ASTER ARDENER <br />PVNNCJ <br />ROGRAM OLUNTEERS ORMAN EAGLE AND LARE OHNSON <br /> <br />Commissioner Adams recounted the beginnings of the volunteer program and read <br />the proclamation. She congratulated Clare Johnson on 15 years of volunteering and <br />Norman Neagle on 20 years and 2600 hours of volunteer service. <br />Norman Neagle <br /> commented that he particularly enjoyed the educational <br />opportunities and brush up courses at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He had <br />enjoyed this fabulous program where he sounded like an expert by having books readily <br />available on every species. <br />Clare Johnson <br /> was at a loss for words after Mr. Neagle’s comments. <br />Former Agriculture Extension Director Judy Wakefield advised their volunteerism <br />has been appreciated over the years. <br /> <br />February 3, 2004 2 <br /> <br />
