OUT OF COUNTY TRAVEL TO ATTEND FAC LEGISLATIVE CONFERENCE <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED <br />by Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously <br />approved out -of -County travel for Commissioners and <br />staff to attend the Florida Association of Counties (FAC) <br />Legislative Day in Tallahassee on March 25, 2009, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of January 21, 2009. <br />8.E. OUT OF COUNTY TRAVEL TO ATTEND THE 2009 FLORIDA SPORTS <br />FOUNDATION GOVERNOR'S BASEBALL DINNER <br />Vice Chairman Flescher questioned the value of this event, which he believed <br />represents about a $1,000 cost to the taxpayer. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Vice Chairman Flescher, to <br />deny staff's recommendation for the out -of -County travel <br />to the Baseball Dinner on February 24, 2009. MOTION <br />DIED FOR LACK OF A SECOND. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner O'Bryan, <br />SECONDED by Chairman Davis, for discussion, to <br />approve staff's recommendation for out—of-County travel <br />to the Baseball Dinner on February 24, 2009. <br />9 <br />February 3, 2009 <br />
