COUNTY ATTORNEY <br />A VERO LAKE ESTATES "GREENPARK" <br />Assistant County Attorney Marian Fell recapped the backup memorandum dated <br />January 30, 2008, and provided background on the idea of a "green park" on a ±8.25 acre parcel <br />of land on 98th Avenue between 78th and 79th Streets in Vero Lake Estates. She outlined the <br />options the Board may choose, and concluded that acceptance of the land by the County by <br />Resolution would facilitate either type of park ("Community County Park", or a "green park"), <br />and allow Eagle Scout projects as coordinated through appropriate staff. <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved <br />and directed the County Attorney to draft a resolution to <br />accept the subject property as a County park. <br />13.
