MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner O'Bryan, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wheeler, for discussion, <br />to accept staff's recommendation. <br />Commissioner O'Bryan felt that the bid seemed extremely low, and he wanted to <br />make sure staff knew what they were getting. <br />Director Olson told the Board that Environmental and Code Enforcement Chief <br />Roland DeBlois had confirmed that the low bidder was a good contractor who could provide a <br />valid review. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board approved <br />entering into a contract with Panamerican Consultants, <br />Inc. of Tampa, FL, and authorized the Chairman to <br />execute same, as presented and recommended in the <br />memorandum of February 19, 2008.
