The principals of the corporation are Leroy E. Smith <br />& Sons, Haffield Citrus, Riverfront Groves, Indian River Pack- <br />ing,.and Sturgis Lumber & Plywood. <br />In 1976 my client constructed and installed a fire pro- <br />tection system consisting of a 100,000 -gallon water storage <br />tank and approximately 3,000 feet of 8 -inch main line. The <br />main line is adjacent to Old U.S. Highway #1 and extends from <br />just south of Lindsey Road to just south of North Gifford Road. <br />The purpose of this letter is to request a place on the <br />agenda of the Board of County Commissioners at its next regu- <br />lar meeting in order to discuss the possible acquisition of <br />the above-described system by the County.
