He asked the Commissioners to accept the ranking and the selection committee’s <br />recommendation of the firm Harvard Jolly Clees Toppe, Architects/Ruth O’Donnell, Library <br />Consultant. He explained that the selection committee felt the approach taken by Harvard Jolly was <br />far superior to that of Stottler-Stagg in spite of their higher fee proposal. <br /> <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Macht, <br />SECONDED by Vice Chairman Neuberger, to approve <br />staff’s recommendation: <br /> <br />Under discussion, Director Frame responded to questions as to the makeup of the <br />committee and time frame. <br /> <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and motion <br />carried unanimously. (The Board unanimously approved <br />the ranking by the committee and authorized staff to <br />commence negotiations with Harvard Jolly Clees Toppe, <br />Architects/Ruth O’Donnell for the design services defined in <br />March 16, 2004 14 <br /> <br />
