WIODMO DAY JULY 9th 19300 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County met in the office of the <br />Clerk- of the Circuit Court at "Nero reach, in the County of Indian giver on this the <br />day of July 1930, and the following County Commissioners were present: Albert ©.Hell <br />Chairman; J.D.Yongue; J,W.IaBruce; J .J.P.Hamilton and John H. Atkin. <br />The Board of County Commissioners together with the County Assessor of taxes con - <br />timed to sit as a Board of Equalizers, and the owners and agents of property, who <br />appeared for that purpose, were allowed to ,make full and complete statements as to the <br />valuation of the property owned or represented by them and the Tax Assessor and the mein <br />of the Board having fully discussed the statements and facts as presented decided not t <br />increase the valuation upon any of the property described on the tax roll for the year <br />1930. <br />The Board of County Commissioners then adjourned until Friday, July 11th 1930, at <br />10 o'clock A.M. <br />ATT7 Chai rman <br />e r k. <br />i <br />FRIDLY JMY 110 A, D. 1930. <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River,County met in the office <br />+►'�� - e €#eeof the Clerk of Circuit Court at Vero Beach, in the County of Indian <br />River, State of Florida, on this the 11th day of July, A. D„ 1930= and -the following <br />members of said board were present: Albert 0. Helseth, Chairmen; J. Di Y'ongue; 3'. W. <br />LaBruce; J. J. P. Hamilton and John H. Atkin. The following proceedings were had. <br />Upon motion dulyapade and carried it was ordered the County Engineer was. <br />Instructed to furnish the authorities in charge of mosquito oontiol sufficient dynamite <br />to blast ditch on South Gifford read, East. <br />Upon motion dulj made and carried the County Engineer was instructed to have <br />repaired two bridges at Fest end of Osceola, over sub -lateral D 6 and D 7. <br />i <br />The attention of the Board was called to alleged violation of Seca 7397 and 739€ <br />or Compiled General I4ws of Florida,,and the attorney for the Board of County Commissic <br />was instructed to confer with the County Prosecuting Attorney relative thereto. <br />The Clerk was instructed to communicate with the attormy general relative to <br />the duties of the Commissioners of Fellsmere Cross State Road District, and/or Trustees <br />of Atlantic and Gulf Special Road and Bridge District. <br />The attention of the Board was called to the need of windows in the East end of <br />the Jail building, now under construction, and.the Chairmen and Mr. F. G. Fletcher, <br />inspector in charge of the construction, were instructed to have changes made and In <br />the event the charges for change in the plans and specifications should appear excessii <br />the Chairman to call a special meeting of the Board, otherwise'to proceed to have the <br />changes made and the wildows installed. <br />County Judge, Otis U. Cobb, having appeared before the board and requested the <br />payment of the sten of 0150.00 for services as Judge of the Juvenile Court for the <br />months of July, August and Septeapber, 1929, the matter of payment of said claim. was <br />referred to Hon. C. P.
