<br />MOTION WAS MADE by Vice Chairman Neuberger, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowden, to approve <br />the Sheriff’s recommendation. <br /> <br />Under discussion, Commissioner Wheeler posed questions regarding the intent of <br />the vehicle part of the ordinance. <br /> Ed Taylor <br />State Attorney Generalexplained that the purpose of the ordinance is to <br />prohibit any not registered vehicle from being operated on a public road. <br />Chairman Lowther stated he would bring this item up at his meeting in Tallahassee <br />for further opinion. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Neuberger, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Bowden, the Board <br />unanimously authorized the County Attorney to 1) <br />draft an ordinance prohibiting any unregistered <br />motorized vehicle from being operated on public roads <br />that is not exempted by other State Statutes; and 2) <br />authorized the County Attorney to draft an ordinance <br />to restrict the use of firearms for target shooting at an <br />approved shooting range, all as recommended in the <br />memorandum dated March 15, 2005. <br /> <br />8.B.
