MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Solari, <br />SECONDED by Vice Chairman Flescher, to direct the <br />County Attorney to draft a Resolution opposing Senate <br />Bill 494. <br />Commissioner O'Bryan asked if Commissioner Solari wanted to include in his <br />Motion, House Bill 755, the House's Companion Bill to Senate Bill 494. <br />MOTION WAS AMENDED by Commissioner Solari, <br />SECONDED by Vice Chairman Flescher, to direct the <br />County Attorney to draft a Resolution opposing Senate <br />Bill 494, and House Bill 755. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION and the <br />Motion, as amended, carried unanimously. The Board <br />directed the County Attorney to draft a Resolution <br />opposing Senate Bill 494, and House Bill 755. <br />14.E.2. FINANCIAL IMPACT STATEMENT <br />Commissioner Solari presented his request to have a Financial Impact Statement <br />provided with the submittal of any new proposed ordinances or regulations. The Statement <br />would include existing and additional costs, as well as a cost benefit analysis where applicable, <br />and would be used as an informational tool on the cost of the regulations which were being <br />imposed upon the citizens. <br />March 3, 2009 50 <br />
