RELEASE OF RETAINAGE FOR WORK ORDER NO. 1 WITH MALCOLM <br />PIRNIE FOR THE MAIN RELIEF CANAL <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously authorized <br />payment of Malcolm Pirnie's final invoice for release of <br />retainage in the amount of $989.51, as recommended in the <br />memorandum of February 25, 2008. <br />7X. MISCELLANEOUSBUDGETAMENDMENT OO7 <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chairman Davis, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Flescher, the Board unanimously approved <br />Resolution 2008-028, amending the fiscal year 2007-2008 <br />Budget. <br />7.Y. VETERANS COUNCIL OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, INC.. ANNUAL <br />FINANCIAL A UDIT <br />Commissioner O'Bryan wanted to ensure that the audit would not impact the <br />Veterans Council from supplying any services to the Veterans. Administrator Baird explained the <br />procedures saying that any agency receiving $25,000.00 or more in funding was required to have <br />an annual audit completed and submitted to the County within 120 days of their fiscal year. He <br />further clarified that staff does not have the ability to make exceptions, only the Board does. <br />John Matthews, past President of the Veterans Council, disclosed that he had <br />worked as the Chairman of the Audit Committee this past year.
