RESOLUTION NO. 79-77 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida <br />resolve: <br />1. That a petition has been filed by THE MOORINGS DEVELOPMENT <br />COMPANY, as owners of the property, with this Board requesting this Board <br />to vacate and abandon a portion of the Plat of The Moorings Subdivision, Unit <br />II, which Plat was recorded in the Public Records of Indian River County, <br />Florida, at Plat Book 8, Page 28 on July 24, 1978, and to renounce and disclaim <br />any interest of the County and the Public said street, road and/or highway <br />herein described as: <br />That portion of Bowline Drive running between <br />Regatta Drive to the North, and Mooringline <br />Drive to the South, bounded by Parcel A to the <br />West, and Lot 58 to the East. <br />2. That at a hearing held on August 8, 1979, this Board determined that <br />the Petitioners had complied with Florida Statute Chapter 177, in that the <br />persons making application for said vacation and abandonment are the owners <br />in fee simple to the above described property and that the vacation and aban- <br />donment of that portion of said Plat will not affect the ownership or right of <br />convenient access of persons owning other parcels located within the bound- <br />aries of The Moorings Subdivision. This Board has further determined that the <br />above described property Is not located within the limits of any incorporated <br />municipality. <br />3. Pursuant to Florida Statute 177 the Petitioners have published legal <br />notice twice weekly in a newspaper of general circulation in Indian River <br />County prior to this hearing before the Board. Proof of said Publication <br />together with certificates showing that all County and State taxes have been <br />paid, are being attached to the Petition and appearing In the minutes of this <br />meeting. <br />SEP <br />BOOK 4� PAGE 495,E <br />
