rl- <br />SEP 51979 <br />BOOK 41 PAGE 502 <br />`4 <br />777- <br />row <br />7H' <br />September 3, 1979; and <br />WHEREAS, during the crisis of Hurricane David the INDIAN <br />RIVER COUNTY VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SQUAD, INC. helped to keep <br />injuries at a minimum; and <br />WHEREAS, the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SQUAD, <br />INC. provided medical and ambulance services as requested during <br />the preparedness, response and recovery phases of Hurricane David; <br />and - <br />WHEREAS, the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SQUAD, <br />INC., together with the SEBASTIAN VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SQUAD, <br />effected 24 emergency calls during the main part of the storm <br />without any accidents or injury; and <br />WHEREAS, the response to a request to the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SQUAD, INC. for ambulance service was most <br />prompt and such promptness contributed greatly in eliminating <br />any panic response that can occur in a disaster situation; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM- <br />MISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, That the Board on <br />behalf of itself- and the citizens of Indian River County, expresses <br />its deep appreciation to the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY VOLUNTEER <br />AMBULANCE SQUAD for the exemplary service performed by the <br />volunteers of the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE SQUAD, <br />INC. during the time of crisis of Hurricane David. <br />Said Resolution to become effective as of the 5th day of <br />September , 1979. <br />H <br />------------------- <br />Chairman,County Commissioners <br />
