DERYL LOAR, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SHERIFF, 2009 COPS HIRING <br />RECOVERY PROGRAM (CHRP) <br />Sheriff Loar pointed out that these five COPS Hiring Recovery Program (CHRP) <br />positions are granted positions. He was hopeful that the positions would be funded for 36 months, <br />and through attrition would be able to absorb the positions at zero cost to the taxpayers. <br />Chairman Davis asked if there was any input from the public, there was none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Vice Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously approved <br />the request to submit the grant application for the 2009 <br />COPS Hiring Recovery Program (CHRP), as requested in <br />the letter dated April 6, 2009. <br />10.
