MR. We believe <br />that these refinements have created a Site Plan with several <br />merits in it as described below. These refinements were <br />discussed on the site in Vero Beach on September 13; 19.79 in a <br />conference attended by yourself, Mr. John J. Schlitt•- <br />subconsultant to Connell Metcalf & Eddy, Ms. Elizabeth Gillicks <br />of the City of Vero Beach, Dan Brewer, a landscape architect <br />with CM&E and myself. <br />1. Plan controls the entrance and exits to the proposed <br />parking areas and also to the main entrance of the <br />building. <br />2. Eighteenth Avenue is proposed to be made into an <br />entrance Boulevard with a landscape median. Primary <br />function of Eighteenth Avenue will be to provide <br />access to the main entrance and the parking area; and <br />not to act as a thoroughfare, thereby controlling the <br />- traffic. <br />3. The circular driveway has been modified to a <br />horse-shoe form providing a more usable and pleasant <br />entrance forecourt. This also provides for more <br />parallel parking for use by the -handicapped, press and <br />very short term use.
