<br />THIS QUITCLAIM DEED, made the %, clay of October, A.D., 1979; by the
<br />CITY OF VERO .BEACH, GRANTOR, a municipal corporation existing under the laws
<br />i
<br />of the State of Florida, with its permanent.post office address at 1053 - 20th
<br />.Place, -Vero Beach, Florida, by and throu&h its undersigned Mayor, to the
<br />people of the State of Florida, GRANTEES. BOOK 1 JAGUE 817
<br />WITNESSETH: That the Grantor does hereby remise, release and quitclaim
<br />and dedicate unto the General Public in perpetuity for recreational purposes
<br />only, its three-fifths (3/5) undivided interest in and to the following de-
<br />scribed piece or parcel of lan-d, situate, lying and being in the County of
<br />Indian River, State of Florida, called the "South Beach Park", to -wit:
<br />Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block 1, PELICAN COVE SUBDIVISION
<br />II, according to the plat of said subdivision filed in
<br />the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Indian
<br />River. -County, Florida, and recorded therein in Plat Book
<br />3, page 79, to and including the mean high water mark of
<br />the Atlantic Ocean and all riparian and littoral rights
<br />appertaining thereto in which the Grantor has interest,
<br />except that part of said Lot four (4) lying -West of the
<br />City Park shown on said plat and South of a Westward
<br />projection of the North boundary line of said City Park,
<br />the excepted portion being 12.09 feet wide (East to West)
<br />and 87.25 feet long (North to South).
<br />Also, the GRANTOR grants to the said public for recreational
<br />purposes only, all of its interests in that parcel of land
<br />designated as a public park and bathing beach on replat of
<br />VERO BEACH VILLAS, according to Plat Book 2, page 21, records
<br />of Indian River County, Florida.
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD all interests quitclaimed together with all and
<br />singular proportionate appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise
<br />appertaining, and proportionate estate, right, title, interest, lien, equity
<br />and claim whatsoever with said Grantor, either in law or equity, but reserving
<br />rights to install utilities and appropriate structures or fixtures and for
<br />recreation uses and concessions in compliance with said Grant. This Deed
<br />is executed pursuant to a contract between the City and the State of Florida
<br />Department of Natural Resources, dated July 11, 1979, regarding a Land and
<br />Water Conservation Fund Program Grant. The City also hereby accepts said
<br />land on behalf of the General Public for recreational purposes only.
