ON MOTION by Commissioner O’Bryan, SECONDED by <br />Chairman Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved the <br />inclusion of Sections 1.1 through 1.3 in the Draft Charter <br />document. <br /> <br />Section 1.4. <br />(Special Powers and Duties of County) <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Vice Chair Bowden, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner O’Bryan, the Board unanimously approved <br />the inclusion of Section 1.4 in the Draft Charter document. <br /> <br />Section 1.5 <br />(Transfer of Powers) <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O’Bryan, SECONDED by <br />Chairman Wheeler, the Board by a 3-2 vote <br />(Commissioners Davis and Bowden opposed) approved the <br />inclusion of Section 1.5 in the Draft Charter document. <br /> <br /> <br />Section 1.6 <br /> (Separation of Powers) specifically referring to the “County Manager” <br />as “County Administrator”. <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O’Bryan, SECONDED by <br />Chairman Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved the <br />inclusion of Section 1.6 in the Draft Charter document. <br /> <br />Section 1.7 did not <br />(Relation to State Law) was deemed standard language and <br />require approval. <br /> <br />May 1, 2007 34 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
