PDM17-21,2004N <br />ROCLAMATION ESIGNATING AY AS ATIONAL <br />SBW <br />MALL USINESS EEK <br /> Jay Hart <br />Commissioner Macht read and presented the Proclamation to Mr., <br />President of the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce, who accepted it on <br />behalf of over 1,000 Chamber of Commerce small business members, who are the <br />backbone of our local economy, and he thanked the Commissioners for their support. <br /> <br />5.C. He said on February 3, 2003, <br />the Board approved the PD conceptual plan for their assisted living facility in <br />Sebastian. Now they are in the pre-development stage and are working on a timeline <br />that will cover the next three years. They have been working with the Department of <br />Elder Affairs who has given them national recognition, and they see the population of <br /> Mr. Hunter <br />elders growing. said their plan to provide care to the elderly of low <br />income is both a community effort and a major necessity. They will make another <br />presentation to the Board within a year with a more detailed plan after they work with <br />staff. <br /> <br />5.D.
