<br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lowther, the Board <br />unanimously rejected the sole bid as it exceeded the <br />budget; and, approved the recommendation for the <br />Public Works Department to provide more funding, <br />develop alternative structures, and re-bid the project <br />at a later date, as recommended in the memorandum <br />of April 11, 2006. <br /> <br />7.K. ACCEPTANCE OF TWO NEW CHANGE ORDERS FOR THE <br />NEW COUNTY ADMINISTRATION BUILDINGS <br /> <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lowther, the Board <br />unanimously accepted the proposed expenses and <br />credits (as set forth in the memorandum) and <br />authorized the County Administrator to execute the <br />appropriate Change Orders (007 & 008) which will <br />then result in a reduction to the Owner’s <br />Contingency in the amount of $19,054, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of April 26, <br />2006. <br />CHANGE ORDERS 007 & 008 ARE ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br />TH <br />7.L. 5 PROGRESS REPORT – NEW COUNTY <br />ADMINISTRATION BUILDINGS <br />May 2, 2006 <br />8 <br /> <br />
