<br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lowther, the Board <br />unanimously approved awarding the bid to Sheltra & <br />Son Construction Co., Inc., Indiantown, Florida, for <br />$575,000.00, as the lowest and most responsive and <br />responsible bidder meeting the specifications as set <br />forth in the Invitation to Bid; and authorized the <br />Chairman to sign the contract after receipt, review, <br />and approval of the insurance certificates and <br />payment and performance bonds, by the Risk <br />Manager and the County Attorney’s office, <br />respectively, all as recommended in the <br />memorandum of April 25, 2006. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br />7.R. DECLARE EXCESS EQUIPMENT SURPLUS FOR SALE OR <br />DISPOSAL <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lowther, the Board <br />unanimously declared the items on the Excess <br />Equipment List as surplus and authorized its sale <br />and/or proper disposal; granted the authority to have <br />the surplus equipment delivered to the Indian River <br />County Sheriff’s auction site where it will be sold at <br />public auction on May 13, 2006; and authorized the <br />transfer of ownership of Asset #3401 (1980 GMC <br />flatbed truck with crane) to the Indian River County <br />May 2, 2006 <br />11 <br /> <br />
