DEC 19 1979 BaOK 42 PAGE 312 <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER Loy, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />LYONS, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY AUTHORIZED THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL <br />COORDINATOR TO ADVERTISE THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY FOR SALE. <br />INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR THOMAS NEXT DISCUSSED WITH <br />THE BOARD A REQUEST MADE BY LINDA MCLAIN OF SEBASTIAN TO BUY COUNTY - <br />OWNED LOT 9, BLOCK 3, AND LOT 25, BLOCK 4, SEBASTIAN GROVE ESTATES. <br />HE NOTED THAT THE BOARD AUTHORIZED HIM TO SELL THESE SOME YEARS AGO <br />AND THEY WERE ADVERTISED FOR SALE, BUT NO ONE BID ON THEM. THIS <br />WAS SO LONG AGO, HOWEVER, THAT THE COORDINATOR ASKED TO BE REAUTHORIZED <br />TO PUT THIS PROPERTY UP FOR SALE. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMIS- <br />SIONER DEESON, TO AUTHORIZE THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR TO <br />ADVERTISE THE ABOVE DESCRIBED LOTS FOR SALE. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT POINTED OUT THAT THIS PROPERTY IS <br />ZONED M-1 AND YOU CANT BUILD A RESIDENCE ON THAT, AND ATTORNEY <br />COLLINS FELT NOW WOULD BE THE TIME TO REZONE IT, WHILE THE COUNTY <br />OWNS IT. <br />THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL COORDINATOR NOTED THAT THERE ARE <br />ALREADY SEVERAL INDUSTRIAL USES .IN THIS AREA - A COMMERCIAL FISH <br />BUSINESS, STORAGE FACILITIES, ETC. <br />THE CHAIRMAN FELT INFORMATION ABOUT THE ZONING COULD BE <br />INCLUDED IN THE ADVERTISEMENT, BUT DISCUSSION CONTINUED IN REGARD TO <br />ZONING AND CONFORMANCE WITH THE MASTER PLAN. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS STATED THAT HE WOULD WITHDRAW HIS MOTION <br />AND SUGGEST THAT THIS MATTER BE ROUTED TO THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT <br />FOR THEIR SUGGESTIONS AS TO HOW IT IS GOING TO BE SHOWN ON THE <br />PROPOSED MASTER PLAN. COMMISSIONER DEESON WITHDREW HIS SECOND. <br />THE BOARD AGREED WITH COMMISSIONER LYONS'SUGGESTION,AND <br />THE CHAIRMAN INSTRUCTED THAT THIS MATTER BE REFERRED TO THE PLANNING <br />DEPARTMENT. <br />CHAIRMAN WODTKE THEN LEFT THE MEETING TEMPORARILY, AND <br />VICE CHAIRMAN LOY TOOK OVER THE MEETING. <br />LLOYD HOBERG,.
