PUBLIC HEARING – ORDINANCE 2004-016 - REZONE <br />APPROXIMATELY 10.76 ACRES FROM RS-6 TO RM-6 (RZON <br />TH <br />2004030162-39540) – SOUTH OF 9 STREET S.W. (OSLO ROAD) <br />TH <br />AND 620 FEET EAST OF 27 AVENUE – J & E OSLO GROVE <br />INVESTMENT (Quasi-Judicial) <br /> <br />PROOF OF PUBLICATION OF ADVERTISEMENT FOR HEARING IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br /> <br />Community Development Director Bob Keating used a PowerPoint presentation (copy <br />on file) to give a detailed explanation of the request to rezone part of the subject site (10.76 acres) from <br />RS-6 to RM-6 in order that the entire tract has the same zoning. This rezoning is exempt from <br />concurrency and will not increase density. The Planning and Zoning Commission and staff <br />recommend the Board approve this request. <br /> <br />Commissioner Macht understood direction was given to staff to have site plans <br />approved by the Board. <br /> <br />Director Keating replied that he had no knowledge of such a directive. <br />Attorney Collins advised such a directive would require an ordinance amendment. <br /> <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Macht, <br />SECONDED BY Commissioner Neuberger, to direct <br />the County Attorney to amend the Ordinance <br />authorizing the Board to approve all site plans, instead <br />JUNE 1, 2004 <br />16 <br /> <br />
