ARC–MCMS <br />RTIFICIAL EEF ONSTRUCTION CULLEY ARINE ERVICES <br />I.GAFWCC-06111 <br />NC RANT GREEMENT <br /> <br />(CLERK’S NOTE: This item was added to the agenda by Public Works/Coastal Resource <br />Manager Jonathan Gorham). <br /> <br />Coastal Resource Manager Jonathan Gorham explained that this item, which had <br />been approved at the June 5, 2007 meeting, was related to the Artificial Reef Grant <br />Agreement with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWCC), which <br />stipulated that all the reconstruction be completed no later than June 30, 2007. Staff <br />requested that the Board approve the agreement between Indian River County and <br />McCulley Marine Services of Ft. Pierce, to deploy the 1500 tons of Artificial Reef <br />Material for a cost of $60,000.00. Mr. Gorham made clear that the contract would be <br />modeled on the privity agreement between McCulley Marine Services and St. Lucie <br />County, not on the Martin County contract that had been provided in the backup. <br /> <br />June 12, 2007 11 <br /> <br />
