June 13, 2003 <br />SPECIAL JOINT PUBLIC WORKSHOP OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS AND THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY REGARDING PLANNED <br />DEVELOPMENTS (PD'S) <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, met in Special <br />Session at the County Commission Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Friday, <br />June 13, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. Present were Kenneth R. Macht, Chairman; Caroline D. Ginn, Vice <br />Chairman; and Commissioners Fran B. Adams, Thomas S. Lowther and Arthur R. Neuberger <br />and the Planning and Zoning Commission Members Gene Winne, Leland Gibbs, Jr., Donna <br />Keys, George Hamner, Jr., David Cox, Norman Hensick, Jr., and George Gross. <br />Also present were County Administrator James Chandler; County Attorney William G. <br />Collins II; Deputy Clerk Patricia "PJ" Jones. <br />Chairman Macht convened the meeting. <br />Community Development Director Bob Keating led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />Planning Director Stan Boling gave a brief PowerPoint presentation (copy on file with the <br />backup) with charts of all the Planned Developments since 1985 excluding Cypress Lakes, which <br />were visited by the Board. The analysis did not include the commercial and industrial planned <br />developments. <br />JUNE 13, 2003 1 <br />
