JAN 91980 enoK 42 PACE 418 <br />THE FUNDING THAT COMES THROUGH THE BOARD FOR THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />IS PAID TO THE STATE TREASURER. <br />ON MOTION BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER <br />SIEBERT, THE BOARD UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED RESOLUTION No. 80-1 REGARDING <br />THE METHOD OF PAYMENT OF MILLAGE LEVIED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE <br />DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND REHABILITATIVE SERVICES TO THE STATE <br />TREASURER. . <br />RESOLUTION NO. 80-1 <br />WHEREAS, INDIAN RIVER COUNTY has -a population exceeding <br />40,000 and not exceeding 100,000; and <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statute 154.02 provides that tax levies <br />not exceeding one (1) mill on all taxable property in the County <br />may be levied for. purposes of the Department of Health and <br />Rehabilitative Services; and <br />WHEREAS, there are two (2) methods of payment available <br />to the County under the above-cited Statute; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, That the County Tax <br />Collector shall pay the proceeds from the millage levied for the <br />benefit of the County Health Department and the Department of <br />Health and Rehabilitative Services to the Board of County Com- <br />missioners who will be paying the State Treasurer in twelve (12) <br />equal monthly installments. <br />********** <br />Said Resolution shall become effective as of the <br />1st day of December, 1979. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />Chairman <br />Attest: <br />k,­�, ' <br />Freda Wright, C,1erk - <br />
