THE ATTORNEY NOTED THE BOARD HAS BROUGHT IN A HIGH CALIBER <br />OF PERSONNEL, AND FELT THE COUNTY WILL NOW HAVE THE CAPABILITY OF <br />SOLVING PROBLEMS THAT WILL BE FACING THEM IN THE FUTURE. ATTORNEY <br />COLLINS THEN CONGRATULATED THE ENTIRE BOARD. <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS STATED THAT HE WOULD ENTERTAIN NOMINATIONS <br />FOR THE ELECTION OF A CHAIRMAN TO THE COUNTY COMMISSION FOR THE <br />COMING YEAR. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER LYONS, SECONDED BY COMMIS- <br />SIONER SIEBERT, TO NOMINATE COMMISSIONER LOY TO SERVE AS CHAIRMAN OF <br />THE BOARD FOR THE COMING YEAR. <br />COMMISSIONER LOY DECLINED THE NOMINATION AND REQUESTED THAT HER <br />NAME BE WITHDRAWN BECAUSE PRESSURES OF BUSINESS WOULD NOT ALLOW HER TO ACCEPT. <br />COMMISSIONER LYONS WITHDREW HIS NOMINATION AND COMMISSIONER <br />r <br />SIEBERT WITHDREW HIS SECOND. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COM- <br />MISSIONER LOY, TO NOMINATE COMMISSIONER SIEBERT TO SERVE AS CHAIRMAN <br />FOR THE COMING YEAR, <br />ATTORNEY COLLINS ASKED IF THERE WERE ANY FURTHER NOMINATIONS <br />AND THERE WERE NONE. HE THEN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. IT WAS VOTED <br />ON AND CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY, AND COMMISSIONER SIEBERT WAS ELECTED AS <br />CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS. <br />COMMISSIONER SIEBERT COMMENTED THAT IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT <br />FOR HIM TO FOLLOW IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF CHAIRMAN WODTKE; HE THEN <br />PRAISED HIM FOR THE WORK HE ACCOMPLISHED IN THE PAST THREE YEARS. <br />CHAIRMAN SIEBERT THEN PRESIDED OVER THE MEETING AND OPENED <br />THE FLOOR FOR NOMINATIONS FOR VICE CHAIRMAN. <br />MOTION WAS MAKE BY COMMISSIONER DEESON, SECONDED BY COM- <br />MISSIONER WODTKE, TO RE-ELECT COMMISSIONER LOY AS VICE CHAIRMAN. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION.
