7.1. TRANSFER A CLASS "B" CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND <br />NECESSITY FROM INDIAN RIVER MEDICAL CENTER TO AMERICAN <br />AMBULANCE SERVICES INC. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Vice Chair Bowden, the Board unanimously approved a <br />transfer of the Class "B" Certificate of Public Convenience <br />and Necessity from Indian River Medical Center to <br />American Ambulance Services, Inc., to be effective for a <br />period of two (2) years from June 30, 2007, to June 30, <br />2009, as recommended in the memorandum of June 8, <br />2007. <br />CERTIFIED COPY OF AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />7.J. HUD GRANT RENEWALS ON SHELTER PLUS CARE GRANT <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Davis, SECONDED by <br />Vice Chair Bowden, the Board unanimously approved the <br />renewal agreement with HUD, and authorized the <br />Chairman to execute the renewal agreement and to allow <br />the Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council to submit <br />the grant agreement on behalf of the County, as <br />recommended in the memorandum of June 12, 2007. <br />CERTIFIED COPY AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />June 19, 2007 7 <br />
