COUNTY ATTORNEY MATTERS <br />13.A. ACQUISITION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY ALONG 66TH AVENUE AND COUNTY ROAD 510 (851!! <br />STREET) <br />Clerk's Note: This item was heard following Item I0.B.1. and is placed here for <br />continuity. <br />Deputy County Attorney William DeBraal recapped the backup memorandum of May 27, <br />2009 to provide background information on the subject property, 37 acres located on the <br />northwest corner of 66th Avenue and County Road 510, of which the County requires <br />approximately 4.03 acres to be used as right-of-way for the 66th Avenue and CR 510 Projects. <br />Attorney DeBraal used aerial maps to describe the property, and informed the Commissioners <br />that property owners Michael and Taffi Abt have agreed to the sale. He thereafter presented <br />staff's recommendation for the Board to approve the contract for the appraised value of the <br />parcels, $552,900, along with approval of engineering, appraisal and attorney's fees, for a total <br />cost of $616,414.25. <br />Attorney DeBraal provided clarification for Commissioner O'Bryan on Contract Item 10, <br />Wye River Farms, Inc. <br />21 <br />June 2, 2009 <br />
