r - <br />FEB 61980 Boa Puf <br />ROBERT MARSH BANKS, OF THE BICYCLE PATH COMMITTEE, NOTED <br />THAT THEIR FIRST PRIORITY IS IN HELPING THE SCHOOLS, AND THAT AN <br />ARTERY WILL BE CREATED FROM IXORA PARK TO THE OLD HOSPITAL. HE THEN <br />MENTIONED THAT THEY HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED A DONATION OF $500 FROM <br />ONE INDIVIDUAL. <br />MOTION WAS MADE BY COMMISSIONER WODTKE, SECONDED BY COMMIS- <br />SIONER LOY, THAT THE COUNTY PARTICIPATE IN THE BICYCLE PATH PROGRAM, <br />USING THE GUIDELINES OUTLINED IN THE MEMO OF FEBRUARY 1, 1950, AND <br />THE COSTS WILL BE BORNE BY THE ROAD AND BRIDGE DEPARTMENT, <br />COMMISSIONER Loy COMMENTED THAT THEY ARE LOOKING FORWARD <br />TO $20,000 BEING RAISED AND FELT THE COMMUNITY WILL SUPPORT THIS <br />PROGRAM; IF THEY DO NOT, WE WILL CROSS THAT BRIDGE WHEN WE COME TO IT. <br />COMMISSIONER WODTKE STATED THAT HE ASSUMED THE PROJECT <br />WOULD NOT BE IMPLEMENTED UNTIL SUCH TIME AS THE NECESSARY FUNDS WERE <br />RAISED OR ASSURED. <br />TERRY GOFF, OF THE CITY COUNCIL, INDICATED SUPPORT FROM <br />THE COUNCIL,AND MENTIONED THAT THERE WILL BE A SCENIC ROUTE THROUGH <br />MCANSH PARK. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. IT WAS VOTED.ON <br />AND PASSED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />THE BOARD NEXT DISCUSSED A REQUEST FROM RONALD L.
