14. COMMISSIONER ITEMS <br />14.A. COMMISSIONER WESLEY S. DAVIS, CHAIRMAN <br />14.A.1. CONSIDERATION OF SUBMITTED APPLICATIONS FOR THE CITIZEN -AT <br />LARGE APPOINTEE ON THE HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />(HRAC) <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Wheeler, <br />SECONDED by Chairman Davis, to approve the <br />appointment of Paul Kuvshinikov, as the Citizen -At -Large <br />appointee on the Historical Resources Advisory <br />Committee (HRAC), as requested in the memorandum of <br />June 23, 2009. <br />Paul Kuvshinikov, 2050 East Lakeview Drive, Sebastian, introduced himself, stating <br />that he currently serves for the City of Vero Beach Historic Preservation Commission, and he <br />had requested to serve also at the County level, to both protect and enhance the resources and the <br />natural and cultural heritage of Indian River County. He expressed his desire to maintain the <br />wonderful qualities and uniqueness of the County, and acknowledged the presence of his son <br />John, who he had brought along, because history was the passing down from one generation to <br />the other. <br />The Chairman CALLED THE QUESTION, and the <br />Motion carried unanimously. The Board approved the <br />appointment of Paul Kuvshinikov, as the Citizen -At -Large <br />appointee on the Historical Resources Advisory <br />35 <br />June 23, 2009 <br />
